Who is eligible for MIDH subsidy for polyhouse construction in India?▼

Any individual farmer, farmer producer organisation (FPO), self-help group (SHG), or private entrepreneur with a minimum of 0.1 hectare (1,000 sq.m) of land is eligible for MIDH subsidy on polyhouse construction. NRI farmers with land in India are also eligible. The applicant must have a valid Aadhaar card, land ownership documents (7/12 extract), and a bank account for DBT disbursement.

Can I claim MIDH subsidy for an existing polyhouse?▼

No. MIDH subsidy is only available for new construction sanctioned before work begins. You must obtain state horticulture department approval and NHB registration before breaking ground.
